The course "Educational Systems" is a core professional discipline within the fundamental block (B1) of the primary educational program (B.1.1.2).

The primary focus of this course is the analysis of automation in learning management, covering both current capabilities and future prospects.

The core challenge in modern education is that every educator develops a unique, individual curriculum. To succeed, teachers require robust tools to structure their programs, populate them with instructional materials, and perform continuous updates. Learning Management Systems (LMS) have emerged as the solution to this demand, enabling educators to design and deploy original, custom-made courses.

The development of these curricula is grounded in the psychological and pedagogical principles of the teaching and learning process.

The course is divided into three key modules:

  1. Psychological and Pedagogical Foundations of Automated Learning Systems (ALS)

    • Learning Objective: To study the fundamental principles of organizing the instructional process.

  2. Instructional Scripting and Design

    • Learning Objective: To gain hands-on experience in developing pedagogical scripts/storyboards aimed at achieving specific learning outcomes.

  3. Development of Digital Educational Resources (DER)

    • Learning Objective: To acquire practical skills in creating digital resources, specifically:

      1. An e-learning course based on the LMS Moodle.
      2. Digital educational materials tailored for general education systems.

Course Workload & Assessment:

  • Total Workload: 2 ECTS credits (72 academic hours).
  • Assessment Type: Pass/Fail (Credit) in Semester 1.
